Where will my Massage take place?

Your massage or bodywork session will take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room. Soft music may be played to help you relax. You will lie on a table specifically designed for your comfort. Just nestle in and enjoy! For at home massages, please allow a 6X9 cleared area for the massage table.

Will the therapist be present when I disrobe?

The practitioner will leave the room while you undress, relax onto the table and cover yourself with clean sheets.

Must I be completely undressed?

Most massage and bodywork techniques are traditionally performed with the client unclothed, however, you may decide what amount of clothing you prefer to wear for your own comfort. You will be properly draped during the session.

What parts of my body will be massaged?

You and your therapist will discuss the desired outcome of your session. This will determine which parts of your body require massage. A typical full body session will include work on your back, arms, legs, feet, hands, head, neck, and shoulders.

What should I do during the massage?

Make yourself comfortable. Many people just close their eyes and completely relax. Others like to talk during the session Feel free to ask your therapist questions about massage or the particular technique you are receiving. The important thing is to enjoy the treatment the way that works best for you.

How will I feel after the massage?

Most people feel very relaxed. Some experience freedom from long-term aches and pains developed from tension or repetitive activity/injuries. After the initial period of feeling slowed down, people often experience increased energy, greater productivity and heightened awareness which can last for days. It is recommended you drink plenty of water after your session to help flush the toxins out of your body and keep your muscles moving freely.

What if I have to cancel an appointment?

Please call to cancel your appointment as soon as you know you will need to. Cancellations made less then 12 hours before your appointment will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.
